The One With iPhone 5

Image
Another September, and here we go, another iPhone. If you are counting since 2007, iPhone 5 is not the fifth iPhone by Apple. Like Namewee said, "... u belum tengok u jangan panggil olang lain jangan pigi tengok ma...". So with that in mind, I've tried to reserve my comment  about this phone since the introduction by Phil S last week... Until today... My thoughts... If you are using an iPhone 4 or 4s, I think you should keep the cash and wait for 5s. It's just feel so "iPhone 4" and the longer screen really doesn't make any sense. Yes, it does feel thinner and lighter. But hey... if you are paying 529 quid on this, I guess you want it to feel solid! And don't get me started on the "lightning" connector. WTF!!! Hasn't Apple heard of the port call "Micro USB" if they want to make it smaller???  Of course, of course... If we love Apple, we should knew from the beginning it would look "cool" t...

The One With Playing YouTube in The Background on iPhone

Image
Do you normally watch YouTube (on the go) on your iPhone or iPad and sometimes wish if you could just have it running on the background so that you can do something else like surfing the net or browse your email? It turns out that we can do that and it took me so long to "accidentally" figure this out. 1) First, fire up YouTube on your iPhone or iPad and search for the videos that you want to "listen". Then click play.   2) Then click on the HOME button and you will notice that the sound fade out and you will return to the home screen. REMEMBER not to press stop! At the Home Screen, double click on the HOME button and the multitask bar will appear. Swipe it to your right and you will see media player button and the YouTube icon on the bottom right. 3) Finally click play and the YouTube will continue where you have left and at the same time you can enjoy multitasking to your other apps. Yay!!! This works too with any videos on your video library and wah lah....

The Pad That Redefine "i"

Image
Stop me if you have not heard about this cos every time when Apple is having an event, it rattle the tech industry so hard even if you are remotely connected to it you will feel it's magnitude. The built up to all these events will always be the rumour mills to the supposedly leaked pictures of the new product and even to the extend that the analysts will start monitoring the stock level in the market for all those parts relating to the rumoured products. Let's get back to the "pad". I still remember when they first launched the product about a year ago. Remember that funny video about the "pad"? :) remember how those "netbooks" maker were trying to laugh off this new category of product? Not to mentioned many more suspicious fence sitters (including myself) thinking what shall we do with this "pad". Whose laughing now huh? :) I'm not going into the tech specs of the iPad 2. Because it's everywhere on the Internet. ...

The One With... What else! WWDC 2010

Image
Every year, for any working adults from the age of 18 till 45 (i think) are looking forward to 2 events whether they like it or not and whether they are in whichever country. 1. Budget. Listening to so call the Financial expects telling us about the deficits, incomes from taxes and how they have used our money to run the country. Smokers will be anxious waiting to find out how much the coming year will affect their pocket every month. Motorist will find out how much more the government is going to suck our hard earned money in the pretext of reducing deficit for the future. And of course, the 2nd event most anticipated by any working adults; 2. WWDC (source: Engaget.com) To some, he is a god. And to many he is probably the best ever "boss" which we have ever seen before, probably none to others.  Oh yeah... Steve Jobs.  Another year, another WWDC and another iPhone! I'm not going to eleborate much about this over-hyped event of the year and probably  whe...
