The One With The Teluk Intan By Election MAY 2014

Image
First of all, congrats and good luck to both nominees for the upcoming by-election, Mr Mah Siew Keong and Ms Dyana Sofya. Being a local boy in this wonderful town of Teluk Intan, I thought it's probably right for me to say a few words :) I have a hunch... Didn't come through a dream or wasn't told by any guru or what so ever. I think BN might win the Teluk Intan by-election. Maybe not by a big margin, but sufficient for BN to show face to the rest that they are still "relevant". This is why... 1) In the last election, we all hate BN. That's not changed. But at that time we also love Mr Seah (RIP). He is a local boy, in and out. He attended the school next to mine. And most importantly, the whole Teluk Intan has a hope. The hope of tumbling the government and or at least winning back the State. 2) Then we have Mr Mah Siew Keong. For those people who doesn't know Teluk Intan, they always think it's another place with the name similar to Teluk Anson. And for the record, Teluk Anson is Teluk Intan! And those who knew about Teluk Intan but never visited the place, maybe these few pictures came into your mind ;)   Yahhh.... The famous Chue Cheong Fun and of course the leaning tower of Malaysia ;) Of course, for those who knew Teluk Intan and visited it, probably you will start comparing it with Kampar or Bidor or Tapah... It's just another Kampung...!! But this Kampung if I may, has something others don't. ATTITUDE! (yah... learn this word from the Jamie's 30 minutes cook show ;) Behind the quiet and peaceful township and the ever decreasing pace of bicycles & "beca" lies the vibrant & exciting people of the "Ansonions". And of course, the moment you step out of the car when you first arrive to Teluk Intan, you will probably thought that you are in the middl...

The One With The Beginning After The End

Image
It's exactly 2 weeks and like many say, there's always an end to everything. But let's stay positive and I would like to see this as the beginning of another countdown to my next trip ;) Not going to say much now as I'm preparing to board the plane in LCCT. But if a summary statement is needed to describe my departure after 2 weeks, it is just like the picture above. Just a beautiful sunset... (for the record, it's in Teluk Intan ;) Will post more when I reach London... Goodbye folks!!! 再见!!! Au Revoir!!! Pit!!!
