The One On The Most "Easternly" England

Image
Yup... What else to do on a beautiful Saturday but to drive 130 miles on the journey to the East ;) And this time, the most eastern point of the mainland England - Lowestoft Ness. Journey was OK, but when we traveled to the west, we saw lots of sheep and cows. This time, there were lots of PIGS!!! hmmm... wonder why. So, we have made it to all the extreme points of ENGLAND!!! Yay....

The Pad That Redefine "i"

Stop me if you have not heard about this cos every time when Apple is having an event, it rattle the tech industry so hard even if you are remotely connected to it you will feel it's magnitude. The built up to all these events will always be the rumour mills to the supposedly leaked pictures of the new product and even to the extend that the analysts will start monitoring the stock level in the market for all those parts relating to the rumoured products. Let's get back to the "pad". I still remember when they first launched the product about a year ago. Remember that funny video about the "pad"? :) remember how those "netbooks" maker were trying to laugh off this new category of product? Not to mentioned many more suspicious fence sitters (including myself) thinking what shall we do with this "pad". Whose laughing now huh? :) I'm not going into the tech specs of the iPad 2. Because it's everywhere on the Internet. ...

The One With Lydia & Lawrence In Town

Image
Oh boy... Of all the people I can imagine who will visit me in London, never in a million years I would have thought these 2 lovely couple will brave the chilly and wet winter and visit me for a wonderful meal in London. Frankly, I have my doubts of meeting up with you guys before yesterday. What would I say and where shall I stop talking ;) But when we finally met, a sense of flashback hit my mind and we had a great chat down memory lane. And Lawrence, somehow I can't get Elsa Fong's picture out of my head when I see you/ your pic ;) Wonder how is she now... And Lew Pei Sum! Where shall I start describing you... hmmmmm. Let's just leave it like this ;) (p/s: My wife just came over and said you still look as pretty... ;) Again, welcome to London! Of course by the time you read this, the duck and sotong that we ate will have "reincarnated" on the airplane's toilet enroute back to KL ;) Hope you guys had a great time in Europe and hope to see you all in Lo...

The One With Teluk Intan CNY 2011

Image
For those people who doesn't know Teluk Intan, they always think it's another place with the name similar to Teluk Anson. And for the record, Teluk Anson is Teluk Intan! And those who knew about Teluk Intan but never visited the place, maybe these few pictures came into your mind ;)   Yahhh.... The famous Chue Cheong Fun and of course the leaning tower of Malaysia ;) Of course, for those who knew Teluk Intan and visited it, probably you will start comparing it with Kampar or Bidor or Tapah... It's just another Kampung...!! But this Kampung if I may, has something others don't. ATTITUDE! (yah... learn this word from the Jamie's 30 minutes cook show ;) Behind the quiet and peaceful township and the ever decreasing pace of bicycles & "beca" lies the vibrant & exciting people of the "Ansonions". And of course, the moment you step out of the car when you first arrive to Teluk Intan, you will probably thought that you are in the middl...

The One With The Beginning After The End

Image
It's exactly 2 weeks and like many say, there's always an end to everything. But let's stay positive and I would like to see this as the beginning of another countdown to my next trip ;) Not going to say much now as I'm preparing to board the plane in LCCT. But if a summary statement is needed to describe my departure after 2 weeks, it is just like the picture above. Just a beautiful sunset... (for the record, it's in Teluk Intan ;) Will post more when I reach London... Goodbye folks!!! 再见!!! Au Revoir!!! Pit!!!

The One With On the A340

This is the first time (probably the last) trying to blog 30,000 feet above sea level on a boring journey back home. Every minute seems so long and every hour is like forever. Trying to sleep as if it’s midnite is so hard when you know it’s only 1pm in the afternoon. And of course being on a budget airline, these people just can’t stop selling you things ;) And btw,   the Lor Mai Kai smells good! Tempting to go for that in a short while. Cost RM7 though ;) (Looks good rite!) I am still amuse with this passenger in front of me trying to figure out why does the RM5 note has a transparent plastic. Looking through it and touching the note like it’s something out of this World. I was quite shock as well that the flight is not full. And to quantify that, it’s so “not full” where most of the seats in the middle row are occupied with only one passenger. And all of them have their “first class” seat enforced with their legs pointing out to the side. And one ...
